While designed to play second fiddle to the more glamorous 'Pacifics' and 'Royal Scots', Stanier's 'Jubs' were a hugely successful design of express passenger engine that became particularly associated with services from St Pancras.
Featuring all-brass construction and professionally finished by Warren Hayward, Sancheng's superb rendition of the class has been finished to represent 'Prince Rupert', an engine based primarily in North West England throughout its 30 years of service.
