New from Swindon Works in 1959 D806 'Cambrian' spent its working life of barely 13 years shuttling between allocations at Laira and Newton Abbot. The removal of non-standard traction, i.e. Hydraulic power transmissions, saw it and the rest of the fleet removed from the network in very short order. In near mint condition and with Heljan's usual running qualities this Tower Models Exclusive (Heljan 42001) is a great reminder of diesel super power once common in the South West.
