This example of Heljan's impressive Class 50 depicts no. 50047 in refurbished condition and wearing BR blue livery. It has been fitted with particularly impressive DCC sound, utilising Jamie Goodman's file on a Loksound 5 decoder.
'Swiftsure' entered service in 1968 and 20 years later could still be seen hauling passenger services from London Paddington adorned in Network Southeast livery.

The model is in excellent condition overall. The previous owner started to weather the model, with the underframe on one side weathered and brown weathering paint applied heavily to the exhaust ports on the roof. |
