Experimental liveries were much in vogue in the early 1960's as the new diesel era dawned and Swindon was keen to join the party. A number of 'Westerns' emerged from the Wiltshire Works in a variety of liveries and D1015 'Western Champion' was suitably decorated in a 'Golden Ochre' livery. The loco is presented here as a Tower Models Exclusive (Heljan 52841) and is in near mint condition. As with most Heljan models this is an excellent smooth runner.
