This charming 'Coffee Pot' type locomotive is based on De Winton's 0-4-0VBT 'Chaloner' from 1877. These engines were built to 3ft gauge and were largely based in North Wales performing industrial tasks. The De Winton works was a small iron works on the quay in Caernarfon that produced industrial machinery and small locomotives for industrial use, particularly in slate quarries.
