WORKSHOP Finescale O Gauge (Kit-Built) Class G6 No. 30328 BR Black (Early Crest)

1 item left

Constructed to a good standard from a metal kit of unknown origin, this former LSWR G6 carries a number that – as far as we can ascertain – was allocated to one of the region's M7 engines. The model would benefit from attention to its mechanism and to correct some cosmetic defects, as detailed below.

Condition Description

The model is in good condition overall, with some cosmetic issues. The cab roof has been glued in place, with significant adhesive leakage around the edges. The transfers for both the numbers and BR crest have been fixed in place with a visible layer of varnish that stands proud of the bodyside; one of bodyside numbers is worn. There are some small paint chips to the top of the cab and to the edges of the running plate; there is a larger paint chip where the right-hand tank meets the boiler. The rear three-link coupling is incomplete. The overall finish is matt, with a lightly weathered appearance.
