Built at Swindon works in 1961, no. D2383 lasted in service until 1971, during which time it was allocated to Bletchley, Birkenhead and Wigan. Featuring the heavyweight cast construction typical of DJH models, this example has been fitted with DCC sound, utilising an ESU Loksound decoder.
