Pre-Owned Finescale O Gauge
OO Gauge Projects
A development of the Aspinall Class 5, Hughes introduced this 'beefed up' version between 1911-1914. Classified 3P, the main modifications included superheating, long smoke boxes, belpaire fireboxes and larger big end bearings and cylinders. Although none of the class were preserved in 'upgraded' form, one engine lives on in the NRM collection in its original Class 5 guise.
Built from cast metal and brass components, this model is an excellent runner.
