Notify me when this product is available:

This beautiful all-brass model depicts a Dynamometer Car built in 1906 for the North Eastern Railway. Acquired by the LNER in 1923, the car was upgraded with Gresley bogies and used for locomotive testing. Its 15 minutes of fame came in 1938, when it accompanied 'Mallard' on her record-breaking run. The car survives today – alongside 'Mallard' – as part of the National Collection.

L. H. Loveless models are highly sought-after collectors' pieces; this example is in mint condition and features an impressively detailed interior with lighting.
