Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Effectively a cut down GWR Saint Class, the GWR 4-4-0 Counties were constructed in three batches between 1904-1912. The class combined parts already available to make a new design, however in service they proved to be rough riding and unbalanced. Due to this all 40 of the class were withdrawn and scrapped by 1933. One new build is under construction.
This David Andrews kit built model of No. 3834 has been finished in GWR lined green.
