With an amazing pedigree and history SNCF locomotive number 9004 set the speed record for rail travel in 1955, achieving an unprecedented speed of 331 Km/H (206 mph). Now preserved at Train City in Mulhouse, France, albeit with the body of sister locomotive BB9003, the loco is a fantastic look back to days of speed trials and speed records in northern Europe. The model from the Lemaco range, their catalogue number O-062/1, is in superb condition overall. Included documentation evidences that this is number 79 of a limited edition of 90 models.
