Whilst the legend of the prototype needs little introduction, this DJH model of sister locomotive 'Fairway' is in excellent condition. Built at Doncaster works in 1928 and never received A3 rebuilding with a banjo style boiler. Sporting an original Great Northern style tender this locomotive was withdrawn from service in 1964.
