The British Railways built Class 08 shunters were arguably BR's most successful design; over 1000 were produced, and they reached all parts of the country. This BR blue example depicts D3045, an early build locomotive that spent its relatively short working life on the Southern Region, being withdrawn from Eastleigh in 1972. The model is in mint condition, having seen no previous use.
