'Silver Fox' entered service in 1935 in a striking silver-grey livery. At first it was used mainly on the 'Silver Jubilee' London–Newcastle express and in 1936 reached a then-record 113mph with passengers in tow.
This excellent model from a Martin Finney Kit features all-brass construction and has been weathered professionally in-house to portray the engine in 1960s BR condition.
