Featuring Masterpiece Models' renowned all-brass construction and excellent levels of detail, this is an excellent representation of Churchward's 47xx 'Night Owl'.
The GWR's 'Night Owls' were a class of just nine engines introduced from 1919. Designed to haul heavy freight trains at high speed, they also 'day-lighted' on passenger services during the summer months. No. 4707 entered service in 1923 and was allocated to mostly Exeter and Old Oak Common Sheds, lasting in service until 1964.
