This Heljan Class 40 has been modified from the original item no. 40511 to depict a split headcode box engine. It has been repainted and heavily weathered. Although an excellent runner, the weathering is heavy-handed and not to a professional standard. This coupled to numerous bodyside blemishes means the engine would benefit from a strip down/repaint.
Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.

Condition Description |
As noted above, the model's finish suffers from overly heavy weathering together with numerous small marks and scratches. Three of the bodyside windows have been pushed in. Driver figures have been fitted to both ends. |
