This rather chunky Andrew Barclay Saddle tank has been constructed to a reasonably high standard but a poor paint finish detracts from what could be a nice addition to a small shunting or Inglenook type layout. Its saving grace is that the loco runs rather well, enhancing its shunting potential.

Condition Description |
Fundamentally the model is poorly painted which detracts from the overall build quality which is mostly good. In addition the model is a very good runner and requires no particular work in that area. A full strip/repaint of both chassis and body is however recommended. |
