The large 'Austerity' type 0-6-0s were a common sight in the mid-twentieth century on both the National Rail Network and private rail complexes, especially collieries. Designed during the war by Robert Riddles as a durable locomotive for shunting and short trip working, almost 400 were built with the LNER ultimately acquiring 75 as their 'J94' class.
This all-brass model from Sancheng depicts the high bunker variant of the class and has been lightly weathered and fitted for radio control with sound.

Condition Description |
In excellent overall condition but would benefit from a deep clean due to prolonged storage. The factory paint finish has been added to with red and white accents. There is a small amount of adhesive visible above one of the cabside numbers, and only one of the cab windows is glazed. |
