The LNER constructed two 'Beavertail' observation cars for use on its premium 'Coronation' service between London and Edinburgh. These stylish coaches make for eyecatching models in any scale but are particularly impressive – and rare – in O Gauge. This lovely example from Golden Age Models features brass construction, superb decoration and a lightly weathered finish.

Condition Description |
In very good condition overall, with a lightly weathered finish. One of the bogie springs is missing; while this does not affect running, the bogie will hang loose when the model is lifted. There is a scratch (approximately three inches long) towards the front of one bodyside just below window level and some light marks to the white window blanking strip on the other side of the vehicle. Passengers have been fitted. |
