A beautifully decorated depiction of LNER A3 'Brown Jack' (with GNR style) tender in LNER lined apple green, constructed from brass and cast metal components.
'Brown Jack' was built as an A3 locomotive in 1935, being the last A1/A3 to be built out of a total of 78 locomotives. The locomotive was based at two sheds throughout its career, firstly when new at Haymarket and when withdrawn at St Margarets. Sadly she was withdrawn and scrapped in 1964.

Condition Description |
In excellent overall condition. The hand lining is a little worn around the wheels, which may benefit from some retouching. One cab glazing panel is missing. There are one or two very minor blemishes to the paint finish. The whistle is missing. |
