'Bittern' has become a regular mainline performer when in ticket and is the only A4 with full side valences in service. This model depicts the engine in its early 1950s guise, with single chimney and early crest.
Built to a good standard, the model would benefit from some cosmetic restoration together with a new drive mechanism to address poor running.

In good overall condition, the loco suffers from peeling to parts of the lining together with numerous small chips and blemishes to the bodywork. The connecting pin to join the loco to the tender is missing. |
