Colin Flannery 1930 LMS Karrier Ro-Rail Bus LMS Maroon

Notify me when this product is available:

An experimental vehicle built in 1931, this Ro-Rail bus was an LMS one off using a Karrier bus as the basis using Cravens bodywork. Fitted with rail wheels and road wheels the unit could travel on both systems using a 6 cylinder petrol engine as its source of power. Unfortunately having failed as a passenger carrying vehicle, it ended its life in Scotland on the West Highland Line as a ballast carrying unit.

Made from a white metal kit, this model is thought to be part of a limited production run designed by Colin Flannery.
