The Great Central Railway's Class 9N locos were designed for suburban passenger work and were reclassified A5 by the LNER. No. 5449 plied its trade in the East Midlands until 1959.
Constructed to an excellent standard from a brass kit, this model has been authentically weathered to depict an 'oily rag' finish and fitted with a decoder (non-sound) for operation on DCC systems.
