Finescale O Gauge (Kit-Built) Midland Railway 1252 Class No. 1239, LMS Lined Crimson Lake

1 item left

A Samuel Johnson design, 30 of these 0-4-4s were built by Neilson and Co between 1875 and 1876. The class were renumbered in 1907, with these numbers being carried over by the LMS, which classified the locomotives as 1P, with some surviving into BR ownership. This example, No. 1239 was withdrawn in 1949 and is depicted here in early grouping livery with LMS insignia on the coal bunker.

The model has been built and painted to an excellent standard but would benefit from some minor refinishing to realise its full potential.
