Heljan O Gauge Class 17 'Clayton' No. D8607 BR Green (Weathered) DCC Sound

1 item left

New from Beyer-Peacock Works in 1964, D8607 was one of 117 centre-cab Bo-Bo engines built as part of British Railways' 1960's modernisation programme. The type was mechanically unreliable and much of their intended work-load was rapidly disappearing. The model listed here, which is factory weathered (Heljan item no. 1753) and fitted with DCC sound, survived a mere seven years in traffic before it was scrapped in 1971.
