Showroom
Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Constructed from what appears to be the Connoisseur Models all-brass kit, this ex-LMS 4F has been finished to a high standard as No. 44399. Built new in 1926 No. 44399 was based at Workington, Carnforth, Carlisle Upperby and Trafford Park sheds before being withdrawn and later scrapped in 1964/1965.
With their unglamorous but versatile nature makes the LMS' freight engine of choice the perfect addition to any Midland Region layout.
