Much loved by today's enthusiasts, the Western Region's 'Warship' class were in service for less than 15 years. Relegated to more mundane duties by the early 1970's, the class soon disappeared from their South West stamping ground, although two were preserved. Heljan's excellent depiction perfectly captures the 'continental' appearance of these fine locomotives, and these models also possess excellent running qualities.
This model (Heljan item No. 42051) is in excellent condition and is a smooth runner.
