Sancheng models of the Stanier 8F are increasingly difficult to find, so we are delighted to offer this excellent in-house weathered version in BR Black with Late Crests. Featuring all-brass construction, excellent detailing and a smooth and powerful mechanism, it has been professionally weathered by Faye Moore to depict a hard-working engine in the twilight years of BR steam. The model has also received aftermarket AWS equipment and snowplough. 

This example No. 48067 was part of the Vulcan Foundry order constructed between 1936-1937 and was firstly allocated to Kettering. Lasting in service until 1967, the locomotive was withdrawn and later scrapped from Royston Shed.
