Maunsell's powerful 'V' class locomotives – better known as 'Schools' after the names they carried – were employed by the Southern Railway form 1930 on both express and semi-fast passenger services.
This kit-built model has been constructed to an excellent standard but would benefit from attention to the paint finish.
Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.

Condition Description |
The model is in very good condition overall. There are imperfections to the paint finish, particularly around the numbering/lettering on the tender and on the cab sides. These areas appear to have been heavily varnished, with a different texture to the rest of the finish. There are visible brush marks to the cab roof and some adhesive residue to the cab floor where a crew appear to have been fitted. |
