Still very much active today D1015 'Western Champion' was one of the big beasts of the Western Region through the 1960's before decline and demise in the early seventies. Saved and now owned by the Diesel Traction Group it is presented here in early BR Maroon livery of the 1960's. The Heljan model fully captures the majesty of these superb Diesel-hydraulics.

The model is in overall excellent condition. One nameplate has been re-fitted but this is not evident. A Kadee coupling has been fitted to one end. |
