The British Railways built Class 08 shunters were arguably BR's most successful design; over 1000 were produced, and they reached all parts of the country. Many exist today, with some backdated to 'heritage' liveries. This BR blue example features D3045, an early Derby built loco which turned blue in 1968. Superbly weathered by Neil Armitage the model depicts the class in their generally slightly unkempt appearance. As with most Dapol small locos this is is an excellent runner.
