The ubiquitous and workmanlike 08 shunters were arguably BR's most successful design; over 1000 were produced, and they reached all parts of the country. Many exist today, with some backdated to 'heritage' liveries. This BR green example represents the type as seen during the 1960s and displays the excellent slow-speed performance for which these models are renowned. Dapol's item no. 7D-008-019US has been factory fitted with sound.
