Dapol Finescale O Gauge 'Terrier' 'Brighton' Improved Engine Green, DCC Sound

1 item left

Built at Brighton works in the 1870s, the 50 members of Stroudley's A1 class of engine found varied work on southern metals and ranged from London's main line termini to the Isle of Wight. Eventually displaced from front-line services to shunting and rural work some 'Terriers' survived into the 1960s.

Our model here is Dapol's 7S-010-005D representing 'Brighton' in its Improved Engine Green livery and bearing details of its gold medal-winning appearance at the Paris Exposition in 1878. Fitted with excellent quality DCC Sound this is, like most Dapol small locos, an excellent slow runner.
