Finescale O Gauge Gresley A3 No.2556 'Ormonde' LNER Green

The racing pedigree of Sir Nigel Gresley's Pacifics could not be better exemplified than by the naming of A3 Pacific No.2556 as 'Ormonde'. Sweeping all before it in the late 1880's 'Ormonde' was first home in 'The Derby', 'The Leger', and a host of other classic races.  Its owner, the First Duke of Westminster, might have been almost as proud had he also been the owner of this fabulous kit-built model of 'Ormonde', beautifully constructed from a Martin Finney kit. The quality of this model comes through in a truly fabulous paint finish, including red inside frames, and a superb cab back-head complete loco crew. One of the finest A3's we have seen for some time.
