This model's bodyshell has been built to a very good standard from a Springside cast metal kit; its chassis is a Slater's brass kit that features impressive functioning hornblocks. No. 1409 was a Gloucester-based engine for almost all of its 31 years that began in 1932 and ended in 1963.
