Finescale O Gauge (Kit-Built) Robinson L3 No. 9056 British Railways Black DCC Sound

1 item left

The GCR's Class 1B engines were designed by John G. Robinson for heavy coal traffic and were built at Gorton Works between 1914 and 1917. Braking deficiencies resulted in the Class being reallocated to lighter mixed traffic duties, and the LNER reclassified them as L1/L3

This model (depicting no. 9056, an East-Midlands/South Yorkshire-based engine) has been constructed to a high standard from a brass kit of unknown origin and fitted with DCC sound.
