New to Camden shed in 1937, No. 6220 'Coronation' was quickly put to work hauling the LMS's new high-end 'streamlined' passenger service the 'Coronation Scot'. A service career of 26 years was to follow largely engaged in working top-link express trains on the West Coast Main Line. Finished in LMS Streamlined Blue our model is factory-built from the DJH stable and the quality of construction plus impressive cab back-head detail would indicate that this emanates from their Custom Shop No.1. A superb model in as new condition.
