Finescale O Gauge (Kit-Built) LMS 'Coronation' Class No.46256 'Sir William A. Stanier'

1 item left

Stanier's 'Coronation' Class engines looked particularly attractive in BR Maroon even though in later years their condition was largely somewhat unkempt.  Looking in far better condition here is the example named after their chief designer. Released from Crewe Works in December 1947 on the eve of Nationalisation No.46256 enjoyed just 17  years service on the  West Coast Main line before retirement in 1964. This lovely model has been constructed to a high standard from a brass kit and demonstrates solid running qualities.
