Constructed to a high standard from an unknown kit brass kit, this is a super example of a Southern Railway 25 Ton brake van which originated with the South Eastern & Chatham Railway. Popular with crews these vans acquired the soubriquet 'Dance Halls' due to their large spacious cabins.
