OO Gauge Projects
Oliver Bulleid's express locomotives entered service on the Southern Region during the Second World War and distinguished themselves for over two decades hauling boat trains to the South Coast. They were particularly associated with the 'Bournemouth Belle', for which they became the motive power of choice.
This model, built to a high standard from what is believed to be an ACME Models brass kit, depicts no. 35015, an engine based at both Nine Elms and Stewarts Lane and named after the famous Dutch shipping line.

In very good condition overall. The model has been finished to a high standard but has some light marks and blemishes to the paintwork on the boiler, chassis and tender. One of the front bufferbeam steps is bent out of vertical, and one of the rear sprung buffers is fixed in position and angled slightly upwards. |
