Competently scratch-built from metal components, this model of Gresley's Class B12 engines depicts no. 8579, a loco that plied its trade between 1928 and 1957 on Great Eastern services from London Liverpool Street. The model is an excellent runner and though not of professional quality represents great value (and a rare opportunity) for those looking to add a B12 to their fleet.

Condition Description

In overall very good condition. The cab floor has been constructed out of alignment with the rest of the loco and sits at an angle; this is no immediately apparent when viewing the model with the tender attached. There is some paint wear inside the tender and to ots running plate. The cab window surrounds have been brush-painted, and there is no glazing to these.
