Introduced from 1958, BR's English Electric Type 4 (later class 40) roamed most of the main-line network until well into the 1980s. Heljan's sturdy model superbly captures the scale of these 2000hp giants; this example (Heljan item No. 4060) is unnumbered and in excellent condition.
