Network South East livery suited the Class 50's perfectly and they were a common sight during the 1980's working out of London Waterloo and Paddington in particular. The Heljan model number 4039 superbly captures that now lost era albeit 'Glorious' fortunately lives on. Originally saved for the National Collection and displayed at York and Swindon it was later released and today is cared for by the Class 50 Alliance.
