'Western Enterprise' was the class pioneer of the large hydraulic diesels to appear from Swindon in 1961. To service at Laira, it was to only last 12 years in service, being withdrawn and later scrapped in 1974.
This excellent model from Heljan - their reference 5296 - faithfully captures the lines of these much missed locos. The loco is in excellent condition and features a smooth and powerful mechanism.
