In the late 1970's the corporate image of British Rail began to change with the introduction of the large logo livery. Class 47 No.47587 was one such loco to receive this new colour scheme and Heljan's model No.4860 is an excellent example of this genre. The model, which is the newly-tooled version, has been further enhanced through weathering to a very high standard.

Overall excellent condition with heavy weathering. Some minor scratches to the weathering, especially on the roof. As with all Heljan diesels some minor parts may have worked loose and the model appears to be missing spring detail on the bogies. One buffer is fixed and does not spring. |
