Colorado & Southern 2-8-0 No.60 passed through various operators during it working lifespan. The locomotive was built by the Rhode Island Locomotive Works in March 1886 for the Utah & Northern Railway, becoming Colorado and Southern 60 in 1899. The locomotive has been stored on display in Idaho Springs, Colorado since retirement from 1941, reportedly being restored cosmetically in the 1980s.
Constructed with brass from the factory this model has been weathered to a fantastic standard and comes complete with tools and crew and alternative cowcatcher.
