Product Information

From the Westdale kit a well constructed model of a Derby-built two-car Class 108 DMU. Built in considerable numbers in the early 1960's these units were to provide long-lasting service through to the 1990's with some surviving in to preservation. Whilst the model will run as it is it would benefit from some general restoration and remedial work, as detailed below.

Condition Description	The model is in overall good condition but there are areas that require attention. The underframe/chassis on both cars has a 2mm 'sag' in the middle and a securing bolt in the middle may correct this. The paintwork is chipped in a number of places and the number transfers are poor/missing. Glazing is missing on the driving car end panel. Delrin chain drive is slightly noisy although this is a common fault.
