An unusual visitor to our website is this Highland Railway L Class 4-4-0. Known throughout their lives as 'Skye Bogies' due to their close association with the Kyle of Lochalsh line, this particular locomotive entered service in 1895 and saw service for just over 30 years. This model has been built from the Shedmaster kit to an excellent standard, with good cab detail.

In excellent condition overall. The paintwork is mostly to an excellent standard, and the model has been hand lined. The finish to the cab roof and interior is to a lesser standard, with evidence of brush marks. The model features many high-quality scratch-built details, including a tablet catcher. |
