Finescale O Gauge (Kit-Built) LMS Stanier Class 4P Tank No. 2568

1 item left

Built as a two-cylinder version of his three-cylinder 2-6-4T, Stanier's Class 4Ps numbered 206 in total. Originally intended for suburban passenger trains, the class quickly found themselves on mixed traffic duties, with BR classifying them as 4MT. Sadly none of this type have been preserved, with the last withdrawn in 1967.

Although the LMS maroon carried by this model is not strictly authentic, the engine has been wonderfully decorated and lined to make a most attractive layout or display piece.
