Kit-built Finescale O Gauge Pullman Parlour 1st 'Lucille'

1 item left

The Pullman concept of luxury long-distance travel was created by George Pullman in the USA but soon spread to the UK and Europe. Construction of Pullmans in the UK started as early as 1874 (by the Midland Railway), with various designs appearing throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Pullman services using dedicated stock ended in the UK in the 1970s, with many vehicles sold into preservation.

This model depicts a later 1920s 'All steel sided' type, finished in earlier 1920s Pullman livery. The coach has been constructed and decorated to a professional standard from a Wayoh kit.
